Solution

The correct option is A Beaker A
In hypertonic solutions, concentration of solutes outside the cell is more than the concentration of solutes inside the cell. To balance out the concentration, the solvent from inside the cell moves outside. This results in shrinking of the cell.

In hypotonic solution, concentration of solutes inside the cell is more than the concentration of solutes outside the cell. To balance out the concentration, the solvent from outside the cell moves inside. This results in swelling of the cell.

In beaker A, concentration of solutes is more inside the cell. To balance the concentration, water from the beaker moves inside the raisin, resulting in increase of its size.
