There are 40 papers of students of a class to be checked by two teachers, Mr. Ashok check five paper in an hour and Mrs Meena can check 4 papers in an hour. If mr. Ashok can spend three hours in checking the papers and mrs. Meena works for two hours. Find the percentage of papers the will be checked in all?

Ashok checks 5 paper per hour and he checks for 3 hour so in 3 hour he will check $5\times 3=15$ papers

Mrs Meena checks 4 paper per hour and she checks for 2 hour so total she will check $4\times 2=8$ papers

All together Ashok and Mrs Meena will check $15+8=23$ papers

Total papers are 40

Therefore percentage of papers checked are $\frac{23}{40}\times 100=57.5$%
