Number of packets in each box = 10
Number of crystals in each packet = 10
Number of crystals in 10 packets = 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 = 100
Number of crystals in 1 box = 100
Number of crystals in 5 boxes = 100 + 100 + 100 + 100 + 100 = 500
Hence, there are 500 crystals in all.
