There are 5 friends in a class who get marks in the ratio 2:3:4:5:6. The maximum marks are the same in each case. The total marks obtained by the 5 are 9/25th the maximum obtainable marks. How many friends got more than 60% of the individual total marks?

The correct option is A 0
Let, the marks of 5 friends be 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x and 6x and the maximum marks = 100F, then

Sum of the five marks = 9/25th of (100F × 5)

20x = 180F

⇒ x = 9F

Marks obtained by 5 friends are 2x = 18F, 3x = 27F, 4x = 36F, 5x = 45F and 6x = 54F respectively

None of the marks is more than 60F.

Hence, option A is the correct answer.
