Total number of chairs = 65
Number of chairs occupied by men = 23
Number of chairs occupied by women = 32

Number of unoccupied chairs
=652332
=(6523)32
=4232=10

Also, 65(2332)=65(9) =65+9 =74

Clearly, (6523)3265(2332), as subtraction is not associative.
