Mean $= \frac{Sum of observations}{Number of observations}$

Given, Mean = 11 and Number of observations = 7

$∴ 11 = \frac{Sum of observation}{7}$

$\Rightarrow$ Sum of observations = 77

If each observation is multiplied by 2

New sum of observation is $= 77 \times 2 = 144$

$∴$ New Mean $= \frac{144}{7} = 22$
