There are many types of movement we humans carry out through out the day, but there's one specific movement that we always follow while doing exercise. Have a look at the image and find out the correct choice.
Abduction and adduction
The movements depicted in image are abduction and adduction.
The movement away from the mid-line is abduction while the movement toward the mid-line is adduction.
This means when a person is lifting his arm till his shoulder height, it is moving away from mid-line and hence is termed abduction. The opposite happens when the person lowers his arm and hence moving toward the mid-line or adduction.
