As strange as it sounds, it has been estimated that microbial cells outnumber human cells by 10 folds. These microbes are mostly found in the human gut and other orifices. Most of them are very helpful to us and do not harm us.

Research as of 2018 suggests that an average man would have about 30 trillion human cells and 39 trillion bacterial cells living among the human cells. So the ratio of human to bacterial cells would be 1:1.3. So we can say that bacterial cells outnumber the human cells in the body.
