Solution

The correct option is D 67

Let the number of human beings be x and the number of cows be y.
Number of humans who have only 1 leg=x10
Number of humans having both legs=1x10
=9x10
Since a human being has 2 feet and a cow has 4 feet.
According to the question:
(x10×1)+(9x10×2)+(y×4)=77
x10+18x10+4y=77
19x=77040y
Since, the number of human beings and cows can be only positive integer, the possible values of x and y, are 30 and 5, respectively.
Thus, the number of human beings is 30.
P(not getting a cow)=Outcomes of selecting a humanTotal number of outcomes
=3030+5
=3035
=67
Hence, the correct answer is option (d).
