Dear student,The plants which have red, violet or brown leaves also perform photosynthesis because they do have chlorophyll in them which is hidden by the excess amount of other coloured pigments ion them which give them these colors.There are various insectivorous plants also which also perform photosynthesis apart from feeding on insects and also have these coloured leaves to attract insects.
