Given that the winning probability of A = 40%
P(A wins) = 0.4
and, the winning probability of B = 30%
P(B wins) = 0.3
For the winning probability of A or B, we have
P(AB) = P(A)+P(B)P(AB)
Since A and B cannot win together
So, P (A B) = 0
Now, P(AB) = 0.4+0.30
P(AB) = 0.7
Therefore, probability of winning A or B is 0.7.
