Question

There are three kinds of plants, A, B and C, to be planted in some rows in a garden. Number of plants of kind A, B and C is 15, 20 and 25 respectively. What should be the minimum number of rows such that each row has only one kind of plant and number of plants in each row is also same?

The correct option is D 12
Number of plants in each row
= HCF of 15, 20 and 25
= HCF of 3 × 5, 4 × 5 and 5 × 5 is 5
Total number of plants = 15 + 20 + 25 = 60
So, Minimum number of rows = 605 = 12

प्रत्येक पंक्ति में पौधों की संख्या = 15, 20 और 25 का
म.स.प. = 3 × 5, 4 × 5 और 5 × 5 का म.स.प. = 5
पौधों की कुल संख्या = 15 + 20 + 25 = 60
इसलिए पंक्तियों की न्यूनतम संख्या = 605 = 12
