Solution

Step-1: Given Information

BagA=6red+3pink=9Flowers

BagB=2red+7Pink=9Flowers

Step-2: Find the Probability that the flower chosen Is Pink

The probability of choosing 1pinkflowerfrombagA= NumberofpinkflowersinbagATotalnumberofflowersinbagA=39

The probability of choosing 1pinkflowerfrombagB= NumberofpinkflowersinbagBTotalnumberofflowersinbagB=79

Therefore, total = 39+79=109

The probability of selecting a bag is 12

The Probability that the flower chosen Is Pink is 12×109=59

Hence, The Probability that the flower chosen is Pink=59
