In first oxide 1 part of oxygen combines with sulphur = 5050=1
Im second oxide 1 part of oxygen will combine with sulphur = 4060=0.67
Therefore weight of sulphur which combines with 1 g of O2 are in the ratio : 10.67=1:0.67=3:2
