The correct option is A Wider pipe has lower frequency
Frequency for close ended pipe is given as f=(2n1)v/4(L+D)

And frequency of an open ended pipe is given as f=nv/2(L+1.4D)

where, n = integer, L = length of the pipe and D = diameter of the pipe.

From these two equations it is clear that if diameter of the pipe increases, the frequency will decrease.
