The correct option is B

2625 sq units


Area of the first rectangle = 50×35

Area of the second rectangle = 25×35

Then the sum areas of the two rectangles is (50×35)+(25×35)

We know that multiplying two numbers by a number separately and adding give the same result as multiplying their sum by the number.

So, (50×35)+(25×35) = (50+25)×35 = 75×35 = 2625sq~ units
