The net force on charge q at P is zero if force on charge at P due to Q1 is equal to force on charge at P due to Q2
i.e, kqQ1r21=kqQ2r22 where r1= distance from P to Q1 and r2= distance from P to Q2
or, Q1=Q2r21r22
Thus, both Q1 and Q2 have same sign and since r1>r2, so Q1 is greater than the magnitude of Q2
