Solution

The correct option is C Rs 3972
I for 6 years an SI =Pr16100
Amount after 6 years =P+Pr×6100=P(1+6r100)/P(1+6r100)=P+60%P=1.6/P 1+6r100=1.6 or 6r100=0.6r=0.6×1006=10%
CI for 3 years an 12000 (a) 10%
=12000(1+10100)s12000=12000{(1.1)31}=12000{1.3311}=12000×0.331=3972000
=Rs 3972
