The initial total number of cards is 52. Out of these 2 cards are removed. Hence, total number of cards is 50.

The initial number of Jack cards is 4. Now since one Jack is removed, there are 3 Jack cards left.

The number of favourable outcomes = Number of Jack cards left to be picked = 3

Total number of outcomes = Total number of cards = 50


Probability P(E) = Number of outcomes favorable to ENumber of all possible outcomes of the experiment

Here, the event E is Getting a Jack card.
