Area of pentagon $= 2 \times \frac{1}{2} \times (s u m o f p a r a l l e l s i d e s) \times (D i s t a n c e b e t w e e n t h e m)$

Area of pentagon $= 2 \times \frac{1}{2} \times (15 + 30) \times \frac{15}{2} = 337.5$ sq. metre

$\Rightarrow K a v i t a^{'} s w a y$

Area of pentagon $=$ Area of triangle $+$ Area of rectangle

Area of pentagon $= (\frac{1}{2} \times 15 \times 15) + (15 \times 15) = 337.5$ sq. metre
