There is a rectangular park of length 50 m and breadth 30 m. There is a path 2 m width inside the rectangular park. Find the area of the path.

Length of the park = 50 m
Breadth of the park = 30 m
Area of the park = 50×30
=1500m2
Width of the path inside the park = 2m
Length of the park without path = 50(2+2)=504=46m
Breadth of the park without path = 30(2+2)=304=26m
Area of the park without the path = 46×26
=1196m2
Area of the path = Area of park - Area of park without path
=15001196
=304m2
