Given:
Thermo emf(Δe) produced per 10 C = 0.005 V

When cold junction is at 100 C and hot junction is at t0 C, thermo emf(ΔE) produced is 0.5 V.
Δe × ΔT = ΔE

0.005 V 0C1 × (t 100C) = 0.5 V
t 100C = 0.50.005 0C

t = 1000C + 100C

t = 1100C
