Solution

The correct option is B Sohagaura Copper-plate
The Sohagaura Copper-plate was found at Sohagaura, in Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh, and is supposed to be from the Mauryan period. The plate has symbols like the ‘Tree-in-railing’, ‘Mountain’, and a structure erected on four pillars. The Tree in railing and mountain symbols appears on many other punch-marked coins from the Maurya period. The third symbol ‘the structure erected on four pillars’ is assumed to represent a granary. The inscription is in Brahmi script and records a royal order that the grains stored in the granary should be carefully distributed.
