Let numbers be a and b
a+b=s and a/b=p/q
aq=bp,(s-b)q=bp
b=sq/(p+q),a=sp/(p+q).
Here S = -56 p/q =7/1
so p=7 q=1
a =(-56×7)/8 = -49
b =(-56×1)/8 = -7
The two integers are -49 and -7
