The correct option is E E
Equivalent resistance between point B and D ,
R′′=6+6=12Ω
and 1R=112+112
or R=6Ω
Now equivalent resistance between B and E ,
R=6+R=6+6=12Ω
by Kirchoff's law for closed mesh ABDEA ,
IR=6+6
or I=12/R=12/12=1A
voltage drop between B and D is ,
VBD=IR=1×6=6V
voltage drop between D and E is ,
VBD=IR=1×6=6V
therefore it is clear that at point E voltage is dropped to zero.
