The distance from the children’s park to school is 11 units Therefore, 11 × 100 = 1100 m (1 unit = 100 m)

The distance from the children’s park to house is 12 units Therefore, 12 × 100 = 1200 m (1 unit = 100 m)

Therefore, distance from the children’s park to school is shorter than the other one. (1 mark)
