Though violent colour light has a lesser wavelength than compared to blue colour light wavelenght . Why is the colour of sky is blue in colour

The blue colour of the sky is due to the phenomenon of scattering, in which a beam of light is directed towards different directions after it interacts with the particles present in the air. When the particles in the atmosphere are struck by the rays of sun, the blue light is scattered the most.
