Here, three 60W bulbs are connected in series,
Resistance of each bulb is
R1=(120)260=1440060=240Ω
In series connection
R=R1+R2+R3=720Ω .... ( sincce R1=R2=R3)
Hence, current will be
I=120720=0.166A
Power dissipated by each bulb
P=I2R=(0.166)2×240=6.7W
