The correct option is A 1 and 3
In the given figure, all the three magnets are together. It means that they are attracting each other. We know that unlike poles attract each other and like poles repel each other. So 2 must be the north pole and 3 must be the south pole.
A magnet has both the poles. Therefore, 1 is the south pole of magnet A and 4 is the north pole of magnet C.
Hence, 1 and 3 are the required south poles of the remaining two magnets A and C respectively.
