Three consecutive positive integers are such that the sum of the square of the first and the product of the other two is 46. Find the integers.
Let the numbers are x,x+1,x+2.
As per the question,
x2+(x+1)(x+2)=46
i.e. 2x2+3x−44=0
Now, By applying quadratic formula, we get
x = -22/4, 4.
But x can't be negative.
So, Numbers will be 4,5 and 6
