Three factories are capable of manufacturing a particular part of the bike. Each of the two factories can produce 100,000 parts in 15 days. The third factory can produce three times the number of parts manufactured by each of these two factories. How many days will the three factories take to produce one million parts together?

The correct option is B 30
Number of parts manufactured by each of the first two factories in 15 days = 100000

Number of parts manufactured by the third factory in 15 days = 3 × 100000 = 300000

Number of parts manufactured by all three factories in 15 days = 100000 + 100000 + 300000 = 500000

Since 500000 parts are manufactured by all three factories in 15 days,

∴ one million (10,00,000) parts are manufactured by all three factories in (15/500000) × 1000000 = 30 days
