Ratio of shares of profit of First : Second : Third

$700\times x:600\times (x+3):630\times (x+6)$

Given:

$\Rightarrow \frac{70x}{63(x+6)}=\frac{4}{9}$

$\Rightarrow \frac{70x}{63x+378}=\frac{4}{9}$

$\Rightarrow 630x=252x+1512$

$\Rightarrow 378x=1512$

$\Rightarrow x=4$

So longest duration $=4+6=10$ months
