Three friends, P, Q and R started a partner ship business investing money in the ratio of 5:4:2 respectively for a period of 3 years. What is the amount received by P as his share in the total profit?

The correct option is A Either III only, or I and II together


Statement 1 and 2 give, profit after 3 years
(38×22000) = Rs 8250




so P's share = 511×8250 = Rs 3750
Statement 3 also gives,

profit after 3 years = Rs. (2750×3) = Rs. 8250

Hence P's share = (511×8250) =Rs 3750




Thus, (either statement 3 is redundant or Statement 1 and 2 are redundant).
