Three group of 10 kids. The average weight of a kid in each group is 35 kilograms. One more kid joined each group.
i) The average weight of a kid in the first group is still 35 kilograms.(2 mark)
ii) The average weight of a kid in the second group is now 36 kilograms. (2 marks)
iii) The average weight of a kid in the third group is now 34 kilograms. Compute the weight of the new kid in each group.(1 marks)

i) Average weight of 10kids=35 kg
Total weight of 10kids=35×10=350 kg
Total weight of 11kids=35×11=385 kg
Weight of the newly joined kid =385350=35 kg
ii) Total weight of 11 kids =36×11=396 kg
weight of the newly joined kid =396350=46 kg
iii) Total weight of 11 kids =34×11=374 kg
weight of the newly joined kid =374350=24 kg
