Solution

The correct option is C 48
To find when the three lights will flash together again, we need to find the smallest common multiple of the numbers 6, 8 and 16.

Multiples of 6 = 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54.....

Multiples of 8 = 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80, ...

Multiples of 16 = 16, 32, 48, 64, 80, 96, 112.....

48 is the smallest multiple common to 6, 8 and 16.

The three lights will flash together again after 48 seconds.
