Turmeric indicator on reacting with the given substance will give the following results-
1. Turmeric indicator will remain yellow (same) when comes in contact with hydrochloric acid
2. Turmeric indicator will turn red from yellow when comes in contact with sodium hydroxide.
3. There is no effect on turmeric solution by sugar solution.
