Three masses of 6 kg, 4 kg and 2 kg are attached to a rigid support as shown in figure. If the string attached to the support breaks and the system falls freely then what is the tension in the string connecting 4 kg and 2 kg mass ? If whole system is accelerating in upwards direction with 2 m/s2, what is the tension in each rope?
