Question

Three measuring rods are 45 CM,  50 CM, 75 CM in length. What is the least length (in metres) of a rope that can be measured the full length of each of these three rods? 


Solution

Given Lengths= 45cm,50cm,75cm

Least= LCM

Find the LCM= 2x3x3x5x5

=450cm

Answer in Metres=450/10

=4.5m
