Three measuring tapes are 40cm, 50cm, 75cm long. Find the least length (in meters) of cloth that can be measured by the full length of each of these tapes.

Length of three tapes = 40cm, 50cm, 75cm.

In order to find the least length of cloth that can be measured by using all these three tapes can be found by calculating the L.C.M of these three numbers.


L.C.M of 40,50,75=2×2×2×5×5×3
=600
Hence, the least length is 600cm.
