Solution

The correct option is D Clavicle and Glenoid cavity - Pelvic girdle
A pectoral girdle or shoulder girdle attach the bones of upper limb to the axial skeleton. Each pectoral girdle is formed of two halves. Each half of pectoral girdle consists of a scapula and clavicle. Glenoid cavity is a shallow, pyriform articular surface, which is located on the lateral angle of the scapula. It articulates with the humerus to form the shoulder joint. Hence clavicle and glenoid cavity - pectoral girdle.
The ear ossicles are made up of three bones called as malleus, incus, and stapes. They vibrate to conduct the sound waves from the outer ear to inner ear and then to the brain.
There are two forms of the skeleton. The axial skeleton includes all the bones along the body axis (lengthwise). Sternum and ribs are a part of the axial skeleton.
The appendicular skeleton is the portion of the skeleton of vertebrates consisting of the bones that support the appendages. There are 126 bones. The appendicular skeleton includes the skeletal elements within the limbs, as well as supporting shoulder girdle pectoral and pelvic girdle.
So, the correct option is 'D'.
