Given, masses of particles
m1=2 kg, m2=3 kg m3=5 kg
Position of mass m1=(x1, y1)=(4, 0) m
Position of mass m2=(x2, y2)=(0, 3) m
Position of mass m3=(x3, y3)=(0, 0) m
Therefore, to find the position of COM:
xcm=m1x1+m2x2+m3x3m1+m2+m3
=2(4)+3(0)+5(0)10=45 m
ycm=m1y1+m2y2+m3y3m1+m2+m3
=2(0)+3(3)+5(0)10=910 m
(xcm, ycm)=(45, 910) m
