Three positive numbers are in the ratio 12:13:14. Find the numbers if the sum iof their squares is 244.

The ratio of three numbers is 1 half colon 1 third colon 1 fourth

so , let the numbers be x over 2 colon x over 3 colon x over 4

So, According To The Question →

left parenthesis x over 2 right parenthesis squared plus left parenthesis x over 3 right parenthesis squared plus left parenthesis x over 4 right parenthesis squared equals 244 x to the power of 2 to the power of blank end exponent over 4 plus x squared over 9 plus x squared over 16 equals 244

Note that the LCM =144.
(36x2+16x2+9x2)=244144

61x2=244×144

x2=(244×14461
x2=244×14461
x2=576
or, x = 24

Therefore , the numbers are →

1x2=242=12
1x3=243=8

Answer → The numbers are 12 , 8 and 6.
