If the total value of the three prizes is ₹ 1500, then find the value of each prize (in order of 1st, 2nd and 3rd).

The correct option is A

600, 500, 400


Let the value of first prize =x

Value of second prize=56x

Value of third prize=45×(Value of the second prize)=45×(56x)=46x=23x

Total value of three prizes = 1500
x+56x+23x=1500
6x+5x+4x6=1500
15x6=1500
15x=1500×6
x=1500×615
x=600

Value of first prize = 600
Value of second prize =56× 600= 500
Value of third prize =23× 600= 400
