Three short dipoles , each of dipole moment p are placed at the vertices of an equilateral triangle of side length L. Each dipole has its moment oriented parallel to the opposite side of the triangle as shown in the figure. Find the potential at the centroid of the triangle (Give integer value)

Let us designate the positions of dipole at the vertices of an equilateral triangle as shown in figure,


Total dipole moment of dipoles present at vertices B and C is p in the direction opposite to the direction of dipole present at vertex A.

Thus the net dipole moment is zero for the given system of dipoles.

So, we can conclude that, the potential due to the system of dipoles at the centroid is zero.
