Three solid cubes of edges 6 cm, 10 cm and x cm are melted to form a single cube of edge 12 cm, find the value of x.

Area of cube=side^3
total area=6^3+8^3+x^3=216+512+x^3=728+x^3
Volume of new cube=12^3=1728
here both volume should be equal
so x^3+728=1728
so X^3=1000
X=10
