Three squares are joined together as shown in the given figure. Their sides are 4 cm, 10 cm and 3 cm. Find the perimeter of the figure.

Solution

Given sides of three squares are 4 cm, 10 cm and 3 cm, respectively.

$∴$ Total perimeter of given squares
= Sum of all outer sides of the figure
= 4 + 4 + 4 + 6 + 10 + 7 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 10 = 54 cm
