Let A( 3,1), B(-3,1) and C(-3,3) be the three vertices of rectangle ABCD.
On plotting the points on a graph paper and joining the points, we see that A lie in quadrant I and B and C lie in quadrant II.
Let D be the fourth vertex of the rectangle.
i.e., Abscissa of D = abscissa of A = 3
Also, ordinate of D = ordinate of C = 3
∴ Coordinates of the fourth vertex, D = (3,3)
