Thunderstorms are always accompanied by rainfall.
True
Thunderstorms are often accompanied by strong winds and heavy rainfall. Thunder and lightning are considered to be a dry thunderstorm, which is often accompanied by heavy rain. But thunderstorm and rainfall are two different phenomena. Thunderstorm is caused due accumulation of charges in the cloud whereas when the tiny water droplets in the cloud become too heavy to stay suspended in the sky, they fall to the ground as rain.
