The area of the region along which the tiles have to be laid is nothing but the area of the room.

Given:
Length of the room = 24 feet
Width of the room = 15 feet

Area of the room
= Length×Width
= 24 feet×15 feet
= 360 square feet

Required area = 360 square feet
