The correct option is C 43 m, 2.87 m/s
Total distance travelled $D = \sum v_{i} Δ t_{i}$
$∴$ $D = 2 \times (2 - 0) + 3 \times (5 - 2) + 4 \times (10 - 5) + 2 \times (15 - 10)$ m
$⟹$ $D = 2 (2) + 3 (3) + 4 (5) + 2 (5) = 43$ m
Total time taken $t = 15$ s

$⟹$ Average speed $= \frac{D}{t} = \frac{43}{15} = 2.87$ m/s
